Clinical/Medical/Nursing
  • GI Technician
    Contact : Human Resources

    Location: Florida Avenue
    Shift: PRN, Hours and Days varies (Monday-Friday)

    Education: High School graduate or equivalent
    Experience: Previous experience in related medical or surgical facility, one year. Formal training as medical assistant, OR/GI Tech or nursing assistant required. OJT in gastroenterology with a minimum of two years experience preferred
    Under the supervision and direction of the GI Manager and the professional nurse, provides assistance to the Endoscopy Unit staff by cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopic instruments and equipment. Provides assistance to the physicians and patients intra-procedurally in accordance with the established policies and procedures for the surgery center.
  • REGISTERED NURSE - OR

    Location: OR Florida Campus
    Shift: FT and PRN (8, 10 and 12 hours available)

    Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
    Licensure: RN with current State of Florida License CPR certification. ACLS required (within 90 days of hire) PALS required (as soon as offered)
    Experience: 1-2 years OR required
    Responsible for the planning, executing, directing and evaluating the nursing care given to the surgical patient by assuming the per-operative role. The main focus of the role is the intra-operative period where the nurse may function as the circulator or the scrub person. Will have contact with the patient in each phase of the surgical experience. The responsibility includes the preparation, assembly and organization of the environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform the surgical intervention.
  • Surgical Technician

    Location: Business Office
    Shift: FT (M-F Days and Hours will vary)

    Education: High School graduate or GED
    Experience: Formal training as an O.R. Technician. Preferably certified as a surgical technologist. Current CPR certification. Previous OR experience, one year.
    Primary responsibility is to assists in the treatment and care of patients in the Operating Room. Provides assistance to the Operating Room staff by scrubbing for surgical procedures. The responsibility includes the preparation, assembly and organization of the environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform the surgical intervention.
  • REGISTERED NURSE - Pre-Op/PACU

    Location: Florida Campus
    Shift: FT and PRN (8, 10 and 12 hours shift available)

    Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
    Licensure: RN with current State of Florida License. CPR certification. ACLS required (within 90 days of hire) PALS required (as soon as offered)
    Experience: 1-2 years previous PACU or critical care experience, one year or relevant experience required.
    Responsible for the planning, executing, directing and evaluating the nursing care given to the surgical patient by assuming the per-operative role. The role is defined as the pre-operative and the post-operative period. May have contact with the patient in each phase of the surgical experience. The responsibility includes the preparation, assembly and organization of the environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform the activities necessary for the preparation and the recovery of the ambulatory surgical patient.
  • REGISTERED NURSE - Endoscopy Unit

    Location: Florida Campus
    Shift: PRN (8 hours shift available)

    Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
    Licensure: RN with current State of Florida License CPR certification. ACLS required (within 90 days of hire).
    Experience: One year PACU, or endoscopy experience preferred.
    Is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating the nursing care given to endoscopy patient. The role is defined as pre-procedure and post-procedure period. Required to float to other areas of the organization as needed.
