Expectations

What should I expect when I arrive at the Center?
  • On the day of your surgery/procedure, you should arrive 1 to 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow time for admitting and pre-procedure preparation.
  • Please read these sample patient consent forms prior to your arrival. Please read all five (5) pages of the document. You will be asked to sign forms identical to these when admitted to our Center.
  • If the patient is a minor, this form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
  • If you are the legal guardian of an adult patient, you must bring proof of durable medical power of attorney with you.
Visitor Information:

Please limit the number of people who accompany you to the Center. To maximize the comfort of all visitors, we suggest that adult patients be accompanied by only one person. This person may be with you before and after surgery. However, we do encourage both parents of the pediatric patient to come to the Center.
  • Please click the "Maps & Locations" icon at the top of this page for directions to our Center.
  • Parking is provided at no cost.
  • Refreshments and reading materials are available in our lobby for your convenience.
  • If you need to leave the Center during the patient’s procedure, we provide a beeper system so we can contact you for any reason. You may also choose to leave your cell phone number with our staff.
  • You may want to bring a sweater, the lobby is kept a cool temperature.
  • Due to safety concerns, children may not be left unattended.
  • The doctor will speak to the family or significant others after the patient’s surgery.
